To activate 4G in Vodafone you first need a LTE/4G Compatible device and a 4G SIM. If your Vodafone SIM is not yet activated on 4G, see below 4G SIM Activation Process.
Activate 4G in Vodafone
1. From your new 4G SIM, SMS SIMEX (19 digit SIM number) to 55199
for e.g., SMS SIMEX to 55199 without brackets.
2. You will receive an SMS/Notification then SMS last 6 digits to 55199 when prompted.
3. If the last 6 digits entered match the first string of 19 digits, your new SIM will be activated in 20 minutes.
4. After SIMEX activation done, Turn your Mobile Data On -> Enter www in Access Point Name (APN) Under Data settings -> then Go To Network mode and select LTE/4G from list
Note: You must have sufficient Prepaid balance in your mobile account.
