ATM Failed Transaction Charges

State Bank of India: If a transaction is declined due to insufficient balance either for a Withdrawal or for a POS transaction then SBI will levy a Charge of Rs 20 + GST.

IDBI Bank: Transaction Decline charges due to insufficient balance at other Bank ATMs in India is Rs 20.

HDFC Bank: Charges for insufficient funds when a POS or ATM transaction is made is Rs 25 + GST

ICICI Bank: Failed Transaction Charges is Rs 25 it can be at other bank ATMs or point of sale (POS), and is charged for each transaction.

Failed Transaction Charges

Axis Bank: If a transaction is declined due to insufficient funds then Axis Bank will charge Rs 25 per transaction this is for any ATM or POS transaction in domestic ATMs.

YES Bank: YES Bank Charges Rs 25 because of insufficient balance or no balance transaction.

Kotak Mahindra Bank: For a Failed ATM transaction fee Kotak Charges Rs 25.

Union Bank of India: Union Bank of India Charges Rs 20 for a Failed ATM Transaction or a POS Transaction and this is same for Andhra Bank and Corporation Bank as both come under Union Bank of India.

Insufficient Balance Charges

Bank of Baroda: Fee/Penalty for the decline of Debit Card Transactions due to insufficient fund in the account is Rs.20 per declined transaction, same for Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank.

Bank of India: For Insufficient Balance Transactions Rs 20 will be charged along with GST.

Note: It’s always better to make sure you have enough balance in your Account before doing a ATM Withdrawal Transaction or a POS Transaction else the bank will charge you for Failed transaction.
