IOB SMS Banking

Before using the service you need to be registered the SMS banking service. See below for Registration For IOB SMS Banking.

Visit your IOB branch and request your Mobile Number to be registered for Mobile banking, then Login into IOB internet banking and register for mobile banking.

Now from the registered mobile number you need to send a sms to 8424022122 in the below mentioned keyword.

For Balance Enqiury:

Keyword: BAL Last 4 Digits of Account Number

Example: BAL 2346 and send sms to 84240 22122

Indian Overseas Bank SMS Banking Registration Balance Enqiury Mini Statement

For Mini Statement:

Keyword: MINI Last 4 Digits of Account Number

E.g., MINi 2346

Upon sending sms you will get a sms which says last 5 transactions happened on your account.

To Know IOB MMID:

Keyword: MMID

MMID is required for sending and receivng funds.
