Jhumri Telaiya is a city in the Koderma District of Jharkhand, India. It is situated in the Damodar Valley, Jhumritalaiyya or Jhumri Telaiya it’s the combination of two villages named “Jhumri” and “telaiya”. Jhumri telaiya was once a popular city due to the mining of Mica.
