Activate Hello Tunes on Airtel

If you are an Airtel mobile customer then want to activate Hello Tunes on your number then follow below steps.

Dial 56789 or 578785 and set the Hello Tunes on Airtel.

Alternatively, To activate hellotune you can also Download myairtel app and click on ‘My Account’

or Visit airtel.in and go to ‘Manage Services’ and proceed.

Deactivate Hellotune on Airtel

To deactivate hellotune on your Airtel number follow below steps.

From your mobile number send an SMS as STOP to 155223.

You can also deactivate Hello tunes in My Airtel App.

Activate Caller Tune on Vodafone

To activate Caller Tunes on Vodafone open myvi app and go to manage your services section.

Deactivate Caller Tune Vodafone

To deactivate Caller Tunes on Vodafone send a SMS as STOP to 155223.

Activate JioTune on Jio

Open MyJio App go Tap on Telecom and scroll down to see JioTunes section

Now click on Subscribe and search for your favourite song and set the song as JioTune for your Jio Number.

Deactivate JioTunes Service

To deactivate JioTunes on your Jio Number follow below methods

Just send a SMS to 56789 or 155223 as Stop and you will receive a sms instantly confirm the request then JioTunes will be deactivated and you will receive deactivation confirmation SMS on your Jio mobile number.

You can also deactivate by calling Jio IVR number 155223.

JioTunes can also be deactivated under My Subscriptions page in MyJio App just click on ‘Deactivate JioTune’ at bottom of the screen in App.

Activate Caller Tune in BSNL

To Activate Caller tune in BSNL Network follow below methods

Dial BSNL IVR 56700 Choose language and select the song to activate caller tune on BSNL.

BSNL Caller Tune can also be activated by sending a sms to 56799.

Deactivate Caller Tune in BSNL

To deactivate caller tune in BSNL mobile network just send a sms as STOP to 155223.

You will get a list of all VAS services activated on your BSNL mobile number, Now reply back with the option of the VAS you want to deactivate.

A confirmation SMS will be sent and the Caller Tune service in BSNL will be deactivated within 4 hours.

Best method to activate BSNL missed call alert service is by using USSD

From your mobile dial **62*17010# and Missed Call Alert will be activated.

Note: However this is not working in all BSNL network areas.

From your mobile Send a sms as sub to 17010

On sms confirmation, Send reply as YES.

Note: Rs.15 will be charged for the service per month.

Activate BSNL Mobile Missed Call Alert

On your Mobile Device Go to Settings -> Call settings -> Call divert/Call Forward Option

Choose Divert/Forward Option When not reachable

Now type +9117010 and Save

If your BSNL phone is lost block the number in below ways.

Block BSNL SIM By Customer Care

When your BSNL mobile phone is lost then quickly call to BSNL customer care center 9415024365.

Answer the queries asked by the customer care then request them to block your BSNL mobile number.

Also you need to lodge a police complaint(not sure whether this is mandatory now).

You need to do above step for both Prepaid and Postpaid BSNL Number.

You can call from any other mobile number and tell your details.

Can I block my SIM if my phone is lost?

Yes, if you have lost your phone you can block the SIM card by calling 9415024365.

Why my BSNL SIM blocked or Locked?

One of the reason SIM gets blocked is due to 3 wrong entry of PIN number or wrong entry of PUK number 10 times.
If above is done then your BSNL sim gets blocked.
You need to call 9415024365 to get BSNL PUK numbers to unlock the BSNL sim.

How to Get New BSNL Sim

Visit any nearest BSNL office carry your original id card/proof and copy of the same and ask for the replacement of your BSNL sim card.

Your new BSNL sim will be activated in 2 to 3 hours upon activation.

Unable to Send SMS from BSNL

BSNL SMS Problems:

Reason 1 : If you have a new BSNL sim then you will not be able to send sms from BSNL for 24 hours, her the New BSNL sim can applies to when upgraded from 3G to 4G sim, when your mobile phone lost/stolen then you take a new sim and when you have done a Mobile Number Portability MNP from different mobile network to BSNL.

So wait for 24 hours to start sending sms from BSNL. If still have queries or questions then contact BSNL mobile network customer Care.

Reason 2 : Wrong BSNL SMS center number in your Mobile Message Settings -> Message Center Number, check this link for BSNL SMS Center Number State and Circle Wise and update the correct BSNL message center number based on your location or circle.

Reason 3 : One of the reason could be you have not send any sms from your BSNL mobile number to anyone from the last 6 months, if you do so then chances that BSNL may deactiate outgoing sms on your BSNL mobile number, contact customer care of BSNL by dialing 198 or 1800-180-1503 and request them to activate sms message service.

Reason 4 : Keep your BSNL mobile network in Manual mode network, or vice versa if it is in Manual keep it to Auto Network, then restart the mobile and try to send the sms.

Reason 5 : If you are on BSNL 4G/LTE network change the network to 3G or 2G then restart mobile and send if you are able to send sms on BSNL phone.

Reason 6 : Check if your mobile has correct Date and Time, if the date and time is wrong sometimes the BSNL mobile network will not be able to sms.
