You can track the AMEX Credit Card status in 2 ways, through Online link and by calling Amex customer care number. See below Steps.

Now under the status of your Card application header it asks you to enter either Registered Mobile Number or 14 Digit App Ref Number.

Upon Entering Mobile number or Application Reference number, it shows something like below.

Under Application status: It says the correct update, like No Records Found, On Hold, application is under verification, Approved, Dispatched or Rejected.

Process of American Express Credit Card:

Apply the Card online, then an Amex representative will contact you and pick your documents.

Then after 2 days another representative will visit your current resident address and will verify your address, by taking your house photos and additional details.

And you will get an email of the status.

How long does it take to obtain an American Express Card?

Post receipt of the duly signed application form along with relevant documents, it may take up to 4 weeks to process your application.

American Express approves credit card easily to persons who has credit score of 750 or more.
